| The Handmade Industries Insurance Program |
| If you are in the handmade beauty products industry, and looking for affordable General and Product Liability Insurance, you found it!!! With very few insurance companies having a real understanding of the beauty products industry, companies and individuals were having a difficult time finding cost effective insurance options.
In 2006 Stratus Insurance was contacted by the Handcrafted Soap Makers Guild, and the Indie Beauty Network, to create a product liability insurance program for their members. By bringing both associations together it gave us the opportunity to greatly reduce the insurance costs to their members. |

Program Qualifications:
- 80% of Sales Must Be Handmade Products
- Be a Member of the "Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild" or the "Indie Beauty Network"
If you feel that you cannot qualify for the Handmade Insurance Program, you may qualify for the Beauty Products Liability Insurance Program | Not A Member Yet?
- Go to the associations websites - www.soapguild.org (HSG) and www.indiebeauty.com (IBN)
- As part of your Membership dues, you receive a $1,000,000 General & Products Liability Insurance Policy
- When we receive notification of your membership, we will send your certificate of insurance within 24 hours
